Since October 2024 a PCTO* project has been activated, which is aimed at high school students who can participate in real academic classes by coming in contact with the faculty at SSML Gonzaga and its educational offerings.
The goal of PCTO is to help high school students focus on their passions and aptitudes through activities that promote the ability to collaborate with others constructively, critical thinking skills as well as integrated problem-solving skills, creativity and imagination.
The proposed course “A Journey Across Tools & Genres” allows students to engage with different text types so that they can gain linguistic awareness and sensitivity, which are indispensable features in contemporary work environments. Students are also taken on a journey through useful translation tools such as corpora and applications of Artificial Intelligence.
The project is designed for a maximum number of 30 students.
Attendance hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and/or 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in attendance.
