Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation

Since October 2024, a PCTO* project has been launched to provide high school students with the opportunity to experience real academic classes. This programme allows students to interact directly with faculty members and explore SSML  Gonzaga curricular options and learning opportunities.

The project aims to help High School students identify and encourage their passions and aptitudes through activities designed to foster collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and imagination.

The proposed course “A journey Across Tools & Genres” invites students to explore a range of text types, enhancing their linguistic awareness and sensitivity—essential skills in today’s dynamic work environments. In addition, participants will gain practical insights into the use of modern translation tools such as corpora and AI applications.

The PCTO programme is open to a maximum of 30 students.

The attendance schedule is 9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. and/or 3:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. – (in person).

For information, contact the ARES office (ares@unimn.it).
